Team building

To help us here’s team building: a term that indicates a set of activities (recreational, experiential, or well-being) whose purpose is to create or strengthen a team spirit, creating an efficient working group capable to give its best in all conditions.

In the workplace it is a common practice used primarily by large companies when they are facing a brand-new group, when the group is in crisis or when it is under stress or just do not get the expected results.

In practice

These team building activities are conducted by experienced personnel: trainers who work and operate in the life long learning which can work with experienced professionals for certain activities, such as culinary masters, sewing, rafting etc..

In fact, team building can be done in two ways, inside the classroom and outside the classroom:

• Indoor: in the classroom, through simulation activities (role playing game), movies, case histories, discussions, business games.
• Outdoor: out of the classroom, with exercises that allow recreational activities team (rugby, mountaineering, rafting, etc..) in contact with nature, facing challenges and practical difficulties.

Team building benefits

The main team building’s benefits may be: to know in a deeper way people that in the office are known only in a superficial way, to increase confidence, to improve the level of collaboration, to facilitate communication, to develop creativity, listening, empathy, motivation , cohesion, leadership and to know and recognize the mission and corporate values.

Finally, the team building’s ultimate aim is to make the group feel a real team, able to cope with large and small daily challenges.
