How to increase employees’ productivity

Many companies aim to increase the productivity of their workers, but many of them really struggle to change something and achieve the desired result. Recent studies carried out in the United States reveal that the vast majority of employees of medium-large companies are less productive and are not incentivized properly. Here are some tips from business magazine Forbes.

Economic incentives

One of the main ways to motivate an employee is economic incentives based on its performance (number of sales? Customer satisfaction? Agreements reached? ). This will allow the employee to be stimulated to achieve intermediate microgoals that will benefit both him and the company. The employee will no longer see the company as one who gets the profits on their work , but as a leading partner .

Constructive feedback

Always end with a positive reinforcement.

The right models

The human models are important : you expect that employees are motivated if their superiors are esteemed and valued ? True leadership does not consist in imposing rules and behaviors unrelated to himself, but to inspire people with less experience in guiding them , and thus have in exchange for their trust and their work .

Training

No one is born an expert, as the old saying goes. Employees who find themselves faced with new challenges within your business will need time , attention and the right training to be able to learn new skills and effectively produce the results that you want.
